Friday, January 12th

Gym Play Dates, Starz Academy :: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Price is $3/child/hour. Let the kids burn off some energy! They will have the opportunity to use the gymnastics equipment including the ground level trampolines, in-ground cubed foam pit, spring floor, mats, slides, balls, jump ropes, hula hoops and preschool sized balance beams, bars and rings.

Ice Wine Tasting, Cold County Vines & Wines (Kewaunee) :: 10 am – 5 pm. Free Tasting all weekend! Ice wine is made from grapes that are left on the vine long after all other grapes are harvested.

Friday Night Open Gym, Air Force Gymnastics :: 7-8:30 pm. Kiddos can run off energy on the trampolines, bounce house, and pit! Member $7/Non-members $10.

Open Gym, Starz Academy :: 7-9 pm. Let the kids jump around on the in-ground trampolines, tumble track and in-ground foam pit. Don’t forget the bars, beams and more! Member $7/Non-members $10.

Frenzy on the Fox, City Deck :: 7 — 10 pm. This fun event will allow participants to experience the plowed Fox River Trail. 7:00 p.m. Run/Walk. 7:30 p.m. Bike. Pre- and Post-Events will be held at Hagemeister Park. Registration required.

Comedy City Improv-Family Show, Green Room (DePere) :: 7:30 pm. Fun for the whole family! The 7:30 pm show features the same family-friendly and content for all-ages. Tickets for the Family show are $10 per person.

Saturday, January 13th

Everybody’s Rummage Sale, Shopko Hall :: 8 am – 2 pm. Here is your chance to find some great finds or to purge! 

Free Coffee and Mimosas, Board & Brush :: 8:30 – 11:30 am. Great option for a girls morning out!

New Leaf Winter Farmers Market, KI Center :: 8 am – Noon. FREE. Over 80 vendors selling local meats, bakery, vegetables, canned items, coffee, art, and prepared foods.

FREE Mega Workout, Thrive Nutrition & Fitness. 60 minute workout for all ages and levels!

Appleton Winter Farm Market, City Center Plaza :: 9 am – 12:30 pm. Up to 50 vendors selling fresh fruits & vegetables, meats & dairy, breads & baked goods, specialty foods and handcrafted items.

Oshkosh Winter Famers Market, Merrill Middle School :: 9 am – 12:30 pm. 

Activity Days, School House :: 10 am – 3 pm. The craft is “Klutz My Clay Critters.” Free while supplies last. Age 4+. 

SAGE Makers’ Destash and Inventory Extravaganza, Leap Room (Green Bay) :: 10 am – 3 pm. Makers will be on hand selling supplies they no longer use, as well as inventory of finished products they no longer offer.

Appleton Area School District, City Center Plaza :: 10 am – Noon. Learn what the AASD’s fifteen elementary schools, three middle schools, three high schools, one magnet school and thirteen charter schools have to offer. Interpreters available. FREE.

Family Snowshoe Hike, Green Bay Botanical Garden :: 10 – 11:30 am. Free for members for $5/ non-members. Hike will be roughly 1/2 – 1 mile. Registration required.

2018 MLK Brown County Celebrations, NWTC :: 10:30 am – Noon. An event to celebrate Dr. King’s message.

Orion Family Show, Barlow Planetarium :: 1:15 pm. Learn how the constellation Orion was placed in the sky. Each show concludes with a tour of the current nighttime sky – stars, constellations and planets – as seen from the Fox Valley and Northeast Wisconsin. Tickets $6-$8.

Friday Night Family Gaming, Gnome Games (Green Bay West) :: 6-9 pm. Great family activity!

Sunday, January 14th

De Pere Lions Club Pancake and Porkie Breakfast, Swan Club/Legend’s :: 8 am – Noon. Take a break from cooking breakfast! Cost in advance is $5 for adults, $3 for children (3-12), and under 3 is FREE! Day of event adults are $6, children (3-12) are $4, and under 3 is FREE!

Sensory SundaySky Zone (Appleton) :: 9:30 – 11:30 am. A quieter environment to jump. $10/person. $2/socks.

Family Sunday, Packers Hall of Fame :: 10 am – 5 pm. Kids 11 and under are FREE with paid adult admission. Enjoy a family friendly Hall of Fame scavenger hunt where teams will earn the chance to try on and take photos wearing a Packers uniform.

The cold weather returns this weekend, so it may be perfect to a trip to a children’s museum.
