National Pretzel Day

Crispy. Salty. Great with dip. Pretty much, the perfect snack! In honor of this special day, here’s a list of my favorites and some dip recipes to enjoy with them!

If I’m going for a pretzel, I want to pack as much salt on top as possible. This little guy does not disappoint in that department. Perfect on the run or in bowl with dip at a party.

The larger, flatter cousin to the original pretzel, pretzel chips ensure you can get a healthy portion of dip. The traditional salty variety is awesome, but I also love the Everything flavor for snacking straight up, minus the dip.

Living with a daughter with Celiac Disease has thrown a wrench into our snacking world. However, these pretzels are light and crispy, without being bland or hard like others in the category. I even sometimes grab these over the traditional.

Auntie Anne’s
No pretzel list would be complete without this buttery deliciousness. A staple in malls across the country, Auntie Anne’s provides us with warm, soft pretzels complete with a variety of scrumptious dipping sauces.

Just Add Dip

If you think pretzels fall into the category of boring snack options, perhaps you just need to add some dip!

Dill Dip
Beer Dip
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip
Strawberry Pretzel Dip

Grab a friend, a bag of pretzels, and maybe a bottle of wine, or beer. Did I mention they make a great happy hour snack?
