On Saturday, May 13th we hosted our first Bloom: An event for new & expecting moms. We are so thankful to the moms and their support systems who attended for a morning of education & fun!

5. Connect with other moms and make new friends! Whether you are a 1st time mom, a mom of four, or considering expanding your family through pregnancy, surrogacy, fostering, or adoption, you are welcome. A little shy? Grab your friend, mom, sister, husband, or partner. Yes, the morning is geared towards new and expecting moms, but moms need a support system. Why would BLOOM be any different? A little shy and don't have anyone to bring with? Study my picture at the bottom of this post and find me. I would love to meet and learn more about you! Breakfast pastries, coffee and juice will be available. Perfect for a morning of mingling and celebrating motherhood!

Green Bay Area Moms Blog in partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is thrilled to be hosting the 1st Annual BLOOM: An Event for New & Expecting Moms. A portion of the event will be dedicated to our expert panel. Each expert will speak to her area of specialty and field questions from our attendees. Please take a moment to meet our experts!

In partnership with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Green Bay Area Moms Blog will be hosting BLOOM: An event for new and expecting moms on Saturday, May 13th from 9-11:30 am. Over the course of 2.5 hours, our goal is to provide new moms and moms-to-be with access to educational resources, pampering, light snacks, giveaways, swag, and an opportunity to tour the hospital. Simply put, it will be a morning of connecting moms and families with relevant local resources.

$81,000. That's the projected average cost of 4 years of tuition and fees for a UW institution in 2034. WOWZA. And, you now how we say, "time goes by so fast." Or, "Before you know it, they are all grown up." It's true. And, even more reason to start saving for college TODAY!

On Friday, November 4th our mission of connecting with moms both online and offline came to fruition.  We were thrilled to participate in #CostcoMomHour, an event representing a partnership between City Moms Blog Network (CMBN) and Costco.  Taking place in 90+ Costco warehouses across the country, over 41,000 people attended this event.  Locally, hundreds of moms and their friends and family turned out at the Bellevue and Grand Chute locations for a morning of shopping & socializing.  The first 100 who walked through the doors received impressive swag bags and everyone enjoyed a wonderful breakfast.  Between Bellevue and Grand Chute, 4 attendees won a $100 Costco Cash Card and 2 were lucky recipients of a large supply of Tide Pods.  We launched Green Bay Area Moms Blog three short months ago, so to see this response was very exciting and fulfilling.  We intend to bring you more events in the future.  Thank you for joining us and we look forward to great things!

I will let you in on a little secret.  I am the chaotic mom in this story.  Between work, school, baseball, golf lessons, swimming lessons and a traveling husband, life is chaotic.  As strange as it may sound, Costco understands my chaos and helps make life easier.
