Laura was born and raised in Appleton, WI. She met her husband Brian in an old school AOL chat room and they were married about two and a half years later. They are the parents of two girls, Riley (12) and Taylor (10). She used to be a mom blogger when her girls were younger, but quit to try her hand at writing fiction. When she isn't busy running her kids to their next practice or sitting in a gym for another tournament, she enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and camping.
