This time of year stinks.
It is long. It drags. Oh, does it ever drag! It is cold. It plays games with us with its occasional fifty degree days then right back to a harsh thirty degrees that feels like zero with that wonderful wind chill...and perhaps I have a touch of that Seasonal Affective Disorder, who knows. I can, however, say with full confidence that I have a case of the end-of-winter blues.
What being a parent has taught me about being a teacher
Once I became a parent my outlook on teaching really started to evolve and transform, and I saw my profession from a whole new perspective. The following things are just a sampling of the ways I've grown as both a teacher and a parent.
Life with 2 under 2

Our Bilingual Journey
